This is interesting.
A whole lot of people are sick, and often out of desperation, people go to these types of “healing crusades”. Where the supposed “leaders” charge for a “fee” to attend.
“Registration fees”, “convention fees”, the works.
Or they seek a specific “faith healer”. Because “so and so” said they were healed.
You have to pray real hard before believing in one, or going to one. Or paying for one.
Here are stories of a TRUE Prophet and man of God, from the Old Testament.
Elisha and the Shunammite Woman – (2 Kings 4:8-17) KJV
Elisha Raises the Shunammite’s Son – (2 Kings 4:18-37) KJV
Naaman Healed of Leprosy – (2 Kings 5:1-14) KJV
In the above two stories, Elisha did not accept payment. The healing came from the Lord. Through Elisha’s prayers.
And in the story below, is what happens to those who monetize God’s blessings of healing:
Gehazi’s Greed and Punishment – (2 Kings 5:15-27) KJV
While the prophet Elisha refused payment from Naaman, his servant Gehazi chose to take advantage of “God’s healing” and Gehazi’s greed caused the disease of leprosy to be put on him instead.
It’s not a joke. God’s blessings are NOT, and have NEVER BEEN for sale.
