There is a story about incest and rape, from the Old Testament, in the book of Samuel – 2 Samuel 13-1-22.

How such an abomination can happen in families these days, should not come as a surprise, it also happened in those days of the Old Testament.
Why, if we may ask?
Because Evil is present in those days, and even more so THESE days.
But GOD, is present as well.
The story is in the bible, for a lesson.
An important lesson.
David had problems.
David’s children had problems, of this type of salacious magnitude.
But David, he stayed true to his faith in God. He continued to walk with God. He had his own failures, with Bathsheba, but David still sought God.
Through the midst of all his trials, God prevailed for him.

It is written in then bible so that the readers can learn from it.
And for victims of incest, or rape, just know:
No evil goes unpunished.
You can ALWAYS trust God for His justice to come.
Trust Jesus Christ for your spiritual and emotional healing.
Pray for those who are hurting.
But pray more for the people who have caused the pain.
Forgiveness from the heart may be difficult, but not impossible, if you pray to God to give you the grace of having mercy towards those who have wronged you.
You will be free from the bondage of the stronghold of the spirit of unforgiveness, a silent sin that destroys you from inside out.
It is for these types of sins too, that Jesus Christ died on the cross for.
To free His people, His children, from the strongholds and the bondage of mankind to sin.
That’s why God hates the sin, but does not hate the sinner.
Sin hurts both the person (perpetrator) committing the sin, and the victim.
The perpetrator of the sin would end up either having anger, or guilt, resorts to lying, or gas-lighting the victim.
The victim of the sin would end up with zero self worth, having anger, or unforgiveness, or trauma, or PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), or depression, or isolation, or a cocktail of all these. Some even commit suicide.
So, BOTH the perpetrator AND the victim SUFFERS because of the sin caused by evil. By falling into temptation.
These days, not all incests or rape cases are reported to authorities.
If you are a victim, you should report it to authorities.
If you don’t want to, at least tell someone.
Go find a Christ follower, who can pray for you “out loud”, to speak healing to you, in Jesus Christ’s Name, to “help you and to restore you.”
Unfortunately, we live in a fallen world. But it is not a bad world. There are Christ Followers, whom God will send your way to help you and assist you, in your time of need.
Just pray, and pray without ceasing.

“Lord God, I lift up to you the person reading this who may have been a victim of incest and rape. Dear Father God, nothing happens on earth that is hidden from You. I pray for restoration in this person’s life. I pray that this person FEELS Your Presence now, as he/she reads the words on this screen. I pray that You sink these words into their heart. That You sent Your Son Jesus Christ, so that mankind can LIVE and have a life more abundant through Him. Bring to mind this person’s sins – the sins that he/she has committed against You, Our Holy God. Grant them repentance. For it is sin and man’s inquities that places a barrier between you and us. Please allow the spirit of repentance, allow this person to put all the his/her sins at the foot of the Cross and surrender it all to Jesus – it is THESE sins that Jesus Christ already died for, Jesus Christ has already forgiven these sins, so that we may “live”, without the shackles of evil strongholds. Their sins are now as far as the east is from the west, as those who make Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior and Master, are promised. You Lord God, are a promise keeper. Help us be obedient to You from this day forward. In Jesus Mighty Name, we pray, Amen. “
