Generational curses is a scary concept. That we can be under a curse, because our father, grandfather, or forefathers have committed some grievous sin against God, and a curse got passed down to us.
That’s why we should pray for God’s forgiveness for our own sins, and the “sins of our father, and forefathers”.
18 “The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.” – Numbers 14:18
