   I was so grateful that I watched this video when I did, ONE YEAR BEFORE my earthly Papa passed away.  

   It allowed me to go talk to him and ask for his forgiveness, for my attitude towards him.

   Papa asked me, “Why are you apologizing?” 

   And I said “I have been so angry with you because you did this to me and that to me and said this to me and etc. etc. and then God made me realize this and that and God said ‘Honor your Father and Mother’, and I had this much inner anger towards you, etc. etc. because I was fighting for what was right and you were playing favorites when you knew I was right and you did not side with me because I was fighting with your favorite child, and my attitude was wrong.  So I am sorry, I was boiling inside.”

   And then he just laughed at me. 

   He said, “Oh, okay.  I forgive you because you apologized.  I asked you because I forgot what I did to you, so I also forgot whatever sins you think you did to me.” 

   And then we both laughed! 

   “The gaping hole of a child’s well-being when they do not feel the love of a father”. 

   Amen. 

   God made me realize that we all have a perfect, Heavenly Father, who loves us unconditionally, that we can accept and love our imperfect earthly fathers, and then think and consider, what kind of a father did they themselves have?  What experiences are they drawing from, from their own father?  

   My Papa, was raised by my grandmother – all 9 children, after my grandfather was assassinated.

   So my Papa, did not grow up with his Papa too. 

   So God made me realize that instead of being angry, to put myself in my Papa’s shoes, too. 

   He grew up without a father, because his own father died at such an early age. 

   So, Papa, did HIS BEST, as a father. 

   And that’s good enough for me. 

   Yes, he played favorites, but that happens in big families.  There are things that he did for us children, in a sense that he never fooled around with other women, and he loved my Mama. They were married for more than 50+ years.  

   So, in this life, all we can really do, is do our best.  

   I am sharing that video above because I know it will also help others.  Those who might have issues with their fathers.  Or those fathers who might be thinking of walking away from their children.

   Because stepping into the shoes of a father, and a mother. is never easy…. 

   … but not impossible through Christ!  

   I was both a mother and a father to my son, and God turned it ALL out for my good.  As I get nearer to the end of my life on earth. 

   God has given me a life extension many many many times and He answered my prayer not to take me while my son was still a minor. 

   So I still pray that in my remaining days on earth, that I could still continue to serve the One True GOD, however way I can in my own imperfect ways. 

   He knows my heart, and He has mended and restored my broken heart that the enemies always try to crush. 

   I am STILL, because I know who my God IS. 

   God is in control. 

   Thank you for another year Lord God.  Thank you Jesus.    \0/
