What is a shield? It’s a form of protection, for warriors, it can be something that a warrior can use to repel something solid that would harm their bodies. In the olden days, it could be arrows, rocks, javelins, something deadly that can either injure us in a major way, or can kill us outright.  It’s “spiritual warfare” and it is true in the olden days, as it is now. Pray for those who spread the Gospel? Why? Because they get attacked more by the enemy, the devil. They get mocked, ridiculed, made fun of, called crazy names, cancelled, “invisibled”, (or like what happened to this website – got deindexed! Constantly getting spammed, LOL! It’s nothing compared to what the Bondservant Paul went through), injured, accused, lied to, lied about, and the ultimate attack, is getting killed for their faith. But God’s Words live on.
