It will be faster for me to just create this blog post – 2018 CLG pages that still needs updating to the New Audio Gospel Playlist – in order to manually remove the old plugin, and replace it with the link to the BRAND NEW (and better) non database Audio Gospel links. (and To God be the Glory!)
I remember, I put a search functionality in different areas of the website when I first developed the CW “Simplified” WP theme.
In some websites, I just did the search functionality to ONLY search the “blog” area.
But for CLG, the search is for every part of the website, because that is how easy it will be to type in, let’s say, a key word like, for example “born again”, and it will show you specific Scripture webpages, where those keywords “born again” can be found.
God brought it back to my memory … that BECAUSE I designed it that way back in 2018, I can also specifically do a search on the “shortcode” of the former WP Videoplaylist, so I can pinpoint which webpage is broken, and then also be able to fix it faster and more efficiently.
So here’s the TO FIX List:

Also replaced with smaller fonts so it wont break on mobile phones.
I will also hunt down the other codes later, so that on the frontpages and main pages, I can just put direct links to the not a plugin “2025 Audio Gospel”.
I am doing it this way first because those old links have been stable since 2018 and don’t want to trigger so many 404s or Page Not Found events.
But for now, that would suffice, if the goal is to just hunt down and get rid of the old non-working, non-exportable codes or shortcodes).
So Matthew is finished. I am not taking screenshots of before and after for the other Books, since you get the picture of how it is broken, and the workaround I did. (Because God helps with those people like me lacking wisdom, and He gives it and directs the next steps).

Will do the same for Mark, Luke and John. So the old pages will eventually not be used on the Menu links, however, I know that those links have been heavily ‘shared” elsewhere, and I want for those who still use those links to know where the Audio Bible is now. Documenting this because some people like to read what it takes to fix something. LOL!
Just tested on Mobile. Looked broken, cut off for rows was Matthew Mark, and then the | got chopped off. So back to the drawing board. I’ll fix the code above as well, because it WILL look broken too on small phones.
Finished revising the links on the following pages as well. (these are super old links, so I wanted to STILL publish them, and revised the source codes so all reference to the Audio Bible now would go to the MAIN BRAND NEW Audio Gospel Playlists.

I’ll just put here file counts for the following, so I don’t leave anything important behind:
For the Main Site – CLG . com that houses the Bible App :
1) Posts = 530 Posts / Webpages = 1 P + 529 Ds
2) Pages = 3,256 Webpages = 3,243) + 13 Ds
3) Media Files = 1,052
4) For the Tech Forum – it’s going to get nuked. I already turned the important and “worth saving articles” into blog posts at CLG . org.
5) For the Share Forum – same as #4.
So the main site will just be all Bible App. My tech blurbs and thoughts and code tweaks, will just be under a new WP installation, I won’t call is “share”, maybe I will just name it either “forums” or “blogs”.
I think this will be all systems go fot the changing of the Domain Name Server. Might take 24 hours for worldwide propagation onto the Newwebhost.
I think I’ve done my part.

This is my note to self…
DO NOT UPLOAD any other WP Theme (like I did at CLG . org), because you see the number of webpages above? Other WP Themes automatically makes Menu Links for Pages!
So CLG . ORG, had 3,256 Menu links! LOL! I had to clean up the Top Menu. And then ended up just nuking it and remake the old Menu following the .COM format.
And so since I made this .ORG mirror site, once the propagation is complete, this .ORG version is what will be put on the CLG . com website. That way I know no “oldhost” files are erroneously migrated.
That’s how I do safe migrations. 🙂
