{"id":539,"date":"2019-07-28T14:08:58","date_gmt":"2019-07-28T19:08:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.org\/share\/?p=539"},"modified":"2025-12-12T16:55:52","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T22:55:52","slug":"census-issues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/census-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"Census Issues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s division among duly elected government officials about the issue of Census &#8211; the question of citizenship, etc. etc. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s common sense, the government leaders, duly elected officials, need to know who is from where, who is in a country legally.<\/p>\n<p>The Israelites, when they were freed from Egypt, even they needed to conduct a census, as God commanded it, in the Book of Numbers:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/a-census-of-israels-warriors-numbers-11-46-kjv\/\">A Census of Israel&#8217;s Warriors &#8211; (Numbers 1:1-46) KJV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And in Exodus:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/israel-increases-greatly-in-egypt-exodus-11-7-kjv\/\">Israel Increases Greatly in Egypt &#8211; (Exodus 1:1-7) KJV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Systems need to be in place so there is law and order.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"row-title\" href=\"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/submission-to-the-authorities-romans-131-7-kjv\/\" label=\"\u201cBe Subject to Government \u2013 (Romans 13:1-14)\u201d (Edit)\">Be Subject to Government \u2013 (Romans 13:1-14)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And we also need to realize and <strong>accept and honor God who put these leaders in their positions.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>&#8220;Be Subject to Government<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities.\u00a0<strong>For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 Therefore\u00a0<strong>whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;<\/p>\n<p>4\u00a0<strong>for it is a minister of God to you for good<\/strong>. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing;\u00a0<strong>for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5 Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience\u2019 sake.<\/p>\n<p>6\u00a0<strong>For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>7<strong>\u00a0Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor<\/strong>.&#8221; &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/submission-to-the-authorities-romans-131-7-kjv\/\" target=\"true\">Romans 13:1-7<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Some of the media and the people who &#8220;bear false witness&#8221; will be held accountable by God, too.<\/p>\n<p>All these lies being spread is about darkness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spread the Truth instead,<\/strong> and<em> this darkness will disappear.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>While there is &#8220;freedom of speech&#8221; &#8211; it has to have lawful boundaries.<\/p>\n<p>Accusing someone of a crime that was not committed, is and IS &#8220;bearing false witness&#8221; &#8211; a LAW OF GOD, that must always be upheld, if one&#8217;s motive is to NOT mislead people.<\/p>\n<p>When people lie about others &#8211; they are in &#8220;deception&#8221; &#8211; possessed by lying spirits, and when these false stories or false crimes, or LIES are spread, then it becomes gossip.<\/p>\n<p>And it hurts everyone involved.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s why God said, &#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Thou shall not bear false witness<\/span>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>And let the government officials just please do their jobs!\u00a0 God allowed them to hold high office, because it is a responsibility, not just before people, but most importantly, before God.<\/p>\n<p>Because God put them there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s division among duly elected government officials about the issue of Census &#8211; the question of citizenship, etc. etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-539","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-christian-life"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/539","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=539"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/539\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1405,"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/539\/revisions\/1405"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=539"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=539"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=539"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
