{"id":541,"date":"2019-07-28T16:04:15","date_gmt":"2019-07-28T21:04:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.org\/share\/?p=541"},"modified":"2019-07-28T16:04:15","modified_gmt":"2019-07-28T21:04:15","slug":"rebellion-against-god-appointed-leaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/blogs\/rebellion-against-god-appointed-leaders\/","title":{"rendered":"Rebellion against God-appointed leaders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is another story, that kind of sounds like present day governments.<\/p>\n<p>Leaders fighting with other leaders. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Lower &#8220;leaders&#8221; fighting against &#8220;higher leaders&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, scripture teaches:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/submission-to-the-authorities-romans-131-7-kjv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Be Subject to Government \u2013 (Romans 13:1-14)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So <strong>every single one in government<\/strong>, or in any position of leadership, has his or her responsibilities, not just &#8220;before man&#8221;, but most importantly, &#8220;before God&#8221; &#8211; who put them in those positions of leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, rebellion happens &#8211; conflicts happen.\u00a0 And more people suffer because of it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/korahs-rebellion-numbers-161-50-kjv\/#post-1559\">Korah&#8217;s Rebellion &#8211; (Numbers 16:1-50) KJV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And it all started with lies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/report-of-the-spies-numbers-1325-33-kjv\/\">Report of the Spies &#8211; (Numbers 13:25-33) KJV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>which caused:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christianlifegroups.com\/the-people-rebel-numbers-141-12-kjv\/\">The People Rebel &#8211; (Numbers 14:1-12) KJV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So those people who start these lies against any leader, were punished.<\/p>\n<p>These days, some of these liars may &#8220;seem to get away with their lies&#8221; &#8211; but this will not be so, because God will make sure that they do not go unpunished.<\/p>\n<p>And history has a way of repeating itself, if we do not learn from God&#8217;s instructions to &#8220;not bear false witness&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is another story, that kind of sounds like present day governments.
